Julie is a seasoned CFO with over two decades of experience in executive finance roles, where she has supported numerous equity and debt raisings

Julie founded Cygnus Consultancy Ltd in 2020, to make CFO expertise more accessible to startups and scale-ups. She works primarily within mission-driven businesses where she focuses most of her time in Life Sciences. Julie is also a co-founder of Turnkey, a venture partner studio that provides services for equity, helping turn startups into scale-ups. Julie has received recognition for her achievements, in 2022 winning Business Woman of the Year at the Birmingham Signature Awards as well as being shortlisted in 2023 for the CFO of the Year at the Women in Finance UK Awards
